The generation of scientific knowledge and its transfer to the market are at the heart of the fourth industrial revolution and are key to the creation and promotion of new companies. The challenge of achieving greater competitiveness of projects, as well as improving the indicators relating to the number of discoveries and patents that finally reach the market, necessarily involves a coordinated commitment by all the actors involved (universities and other generators of knowledge, talent, capital, administrations…).

This round table will analyse the role of each of those involved, the key points where it is essential to focus efforts and the potential benefits for society as a whole of improving transfer indicators in all areas of knowledge, especially in the life sciences.
