In recent years, significant biotechnological and digital developments (artificial intelligence, supercomputing, robotics, bioengineering…) have been achieved that are enabling the generation and massive analysis of omics data related to health and disease. The integration and adoption of these enabling technologies in the biotechnology industry is the objective of the Complementary Plans of the Biotechnology Applied to Health programme, which are part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and are co-funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

This session will deal with aspects on the management of this type of collaborative projects, the application of new technology within the biotechnology industry and the potential of this industry for the benefit of society as a whole.
